Historic Freight Trail Adventure
Join local historian Les Oystryk of Beaver City Tours for a one-of-a-kind 4-hour guided snowshoe excursion through the heart of Beaver City, Saskatchewan’s first gold rush community. Travel the historic freight route of the north, walk the old main street, and follow a 110-year-old horse and sleigh trail along the Sturgeon Weir River while uncovering the stories that shaped Highway 35 and the region.
Enjoy hot chocolate and smokies by the campfire before snowshoeing back to camp.
